ABOUT
The Labor Day D1SCOVERY Day is tailored for lacrosse players aspiring to take their game to the next level and to help pursue their dream of playing at the collegiate level undeniably. Furthermore, this event gives those a chance to display their talent in front of 8+ In Person Division 1-3 Colleges/Universities in an extremely small showcase setting (48 players only).

DATE: MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 4TH, 2023 | TIME: 10AM-1PM | 1-2PM
LOCATION: CANTIAGUE PARK – HICKSVILLE LONG ISLANDY (NY)
GRAD YEARS: RISING FRESHMAN – CURRENT SENIORS
*EMAILS WILL BE SENT ON SATURDAY CONTAINING ALL OF THE INFORMATION FOR THE SHOWCASE (JERSEY #, CHECK-IN TIME, ETC)
During this one-day showcase camp, only 44 players will be accepted and put through drills for the first forty minutes followed by competing in 2 competitive games.
Each game, players will have the unique opportunity to be coached by 3-4 coaches in addition to being coached by a different DI-III collegiate coach while the other coaches in attendance will be on the sidelines recruiting.
All games are played on only 1 turf field – the perfect showcase setting to get the most exposure. Players will be guaranteed a high level of play and top exposure!

FORMAT
PLAYER FORMAT: 10AM-2PM
- Restricted to Rising Frosh-Current Seniors
- Limited to Only 44 Total Players
- 22 Person Rosters for Each Team (2 Teams)
EVENT/GAME FORMAT:
- The first forty minutes will consist of college-like drills ran by the different college coaches
- 2 Stations comprised of at least 2 college coaches where a group of 20-24 players rotate through every 20 minutes
- After the 40 minutes, players will play in two (2) 40-minute running games coached by 2-3 different coaches for each game with stoppage allowed for coaches to go over mistakes throughout the game
- Before the games, coaches will run instructional drills/warm-ups with their teams – an opportunity to learn even more from the best coaches in the country
- Each team/player will compete in two (2) total games
EXPOSURE
- Top Coaching & Exposure by 8+ D1-III Colleges
- 2:1 Player to Coach ratio while playing
- All Drills & Games played on 1 Turf Field
- Compete against the top players in the Northeast
- National, Regional, and Local Media Coverage by Top Lax Recruits, ConnectLax & Back of The Cage
- A different Collegiate Coach will coach each game

SCHEDULE

9:10am – 9:45 am
Assigned reversibles are distributed to each player
Players must check in prior to the start of the event at the main registration tent
College Coaching Drills:
College Coaches will divide the players into 2 groups and will run college-like drills for the first 40 minutes rotating the two groups every twenty minutes so all players can have a chance to work with All of the DI-III College Coaches in attendance.

Refund Policy Terms:
The Girl’s Labor Day D1scovery Day Showcase-Camp in conjunction with with College Bound Laxers & LI Lacrosse Showcases provides no refunds (full or partial), even in the case of acts of God, severe weather (wind, thunder/lightening, rain etc.), or any other event that may result in delays and/or cancellations. However, in the event of an injury with a note from a physician, a 75% credit will be applied if notified by 45 days prior to event start date.
